100% Whey Gold Standard from Optimum Nutrition consists of hydrolyzed whey peptides, which is protein that has been previously broken down into short chains of amino acids. Since the whey peptides are more broken down in relation to whole whey protein, it does not need to be broken down by the stomach's own enzymes. Protein contributes to increasing muscle mass, and is therefore an important part of the diet for those who train hard and whose goal is to build muscle.
The protein powder has a high protein content, but this can vary slightly between the many different flavors. However, you can count on getting a protein content of between 79 - 82% protein regardless of which flavor you choose. Thanks to the fact that this whey protein powder is instantized, it also dissolves easily in liquid, which means that you avoid lumps in your protein shake.
