L-arginine can be found in protein-rich products such as nuts, dairy products, meat, fish and seafood, and also in legumes and pumpkin seeds. Arginine is an amino acid which, together with L-citrulline and L-ornithine, is an intermediate product in the urea cycle and also a substrate in the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO) and during the production of creatine.
