HMB - organic chemical compound belonging to hydroxy acids, i.e. substances that contain at least one hydroxyl group and one carboxyl group in their molecular structure. HMB is an ingredient that is formed in the human body from essential amino acid leucine. In order to cover the need for HMB, it is therefore necessary to include significant amounts of leucine in the daily menu, which is found in products such as milk and dairy products, as well as meat and fish. A good solution may also be to include supplements rich in beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate in your diet, which have a high content of the desired compound.
