Among the essential amino acids, we can also distinguish branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), i.e. substances whose metabolism takes place directly in the muscles, which increases their attractiveness, especially among athletes and physically active people. Branched chain amino acids include compounds such as isoleucine, leucine and valine. Incomplete proteins, on the other hand, are structures that do not contain all essential amino acids, which is why it is important to properly combine the consumed products to provide the body with all valuable compounds.
