Pre-Workout belongs to Optimum Nutrition and their Gold Standard line. Gold Standard is reserved for the most advanced supplements with a refined content to ensure you get the best possible quality. This is a PWO that provides everything you want in a good pre workout product and it is free from unnecessary extreme dosages. The included amounts are instead well thought out and optimized.
Where many PWOs choose to focus their content around a massive dose of caffeine, Gold Standard Pre-Workout instead contains a much more balanced dosage of 175 mg. Too high doses of caffeine are known to cause side effects. At the correct dosage, caffeine can instead contribute to increased concentration and focus.
With 3,400 mg of creatine monohydrate, you can also benefit from the effects that creatine provides. Namely, creatine increases the physical performance during repeated effort in connection with short-term and high-intensity training, an effect that occurs at an intake of 3 g daily.
Of course, the very popular ingredients citrulline and beta-alanine are included in Gold Standard Pre-Workout. Beta-Alanine is known to cause skin tingling but many include generic beta-alanine. Optimum is not satisfied with this, but has instead added CarnoSyn®, a high-quality beta-alanine.
These primary ingredients are in turn combined with vitamins, ginseng, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine and grapefruit extract. Gold Standard Pre-Workout is simply the highest standard.

Recommended daily dose: Mix one scoop (11 grams) with about 3.5 dl of water and drink about 30 minutes before training. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
